January session of classes announced!

iO West is excited about our upcoming slate of classes starting the first week of January.

Some highlights of the next term:

-Registration is already open for improv levels 1 and 2 and sketch levels 1 and 2. Registration for improv levels 3-5B opens Friday at noon. You can call to register over the phone starting at 11AM (323-962-7560) or register online starting at 12 Noon.

-We debut our brand new Sketch Writing curriculum. The classes are 5-weeks long and only $225 to make them even more inviting. Our world-class instructors from our growing sketch team program will teach you how to make scripted comedy for the stage and beyond. Interns can now use their credits for sketch classes as well.

-We’re running some great deals on some of our classes. Sign up for level 1 or 2 before November 30th and you get $50 off the tuition. Refer a friend to sign up for level 1 and get $50 off any class. Take both a sketch writing and improv class in the same term and get $150 off the total price of tuition. And these offers are combinable – WHOA!

-Some of our most beloved improv teachers are teaching next term. Craig Cackowski makes his triumphant return after a few sessions off (that dude gets work!), teaching not one but TWO level 3 classes. He joins our other great teachers next term, including Colleen Doyle, Eric Hunicutt, Holly Laurent, Bente Engelstoft, Dave Hill, Greg Hess, and Amanda Blake Davis among others.

If you’re a graduate of UCB or Second City, you may qualify to skip our level 1 and jump right into level 2 of our improv training. Contact colleen@ioimprov.com for more information.
